Break thoughts through taking action.

The action is connecting to your breath! One might consider the simplest action to take.

In 2019 my new job meant lots of driving to new places on the motorway ! I don't like motorway driving but kind of had to do it. I had to dig deep inside my wellbeing toolbox, challenge my negative thought's and breathe through the discomfort and anxiety, literally junction to junction.

The 4 2 6 breathing technique has been in my own personal wellbeing toolbox ever since it got me through.... ( I still use it now when I need to) the extended exhale is the most regulating...

give it a try... Practice it a few times from the image above so you remember it , then when that dreading feeling kicks in you will be a master of the BREATH.

Do you need more techniques in your toolbox ?

Talking therapies can help you to build up a toolbox of personalised tools and strategies that help you.
